Arrival of the group in the afternoon. Accomodation in reserved
rooms at a 3*** Hotel in The vicinity of Lecce.
Guided excursion to the historical towncentre of Lecce
and to Carlo V Castle, built in 1537. Visit to a papier-
mâché workshop. Aperitif break with local wine and local food
in a wine cellar. Dinner in a traditional restaurant. Return
to the Hotel. Overnight stay. |

| Saturday: |
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure by coach with the tourist
guide to Otranto. Guided excursion of the picturesque
ancient town, walk along the ramparts and visit to the
Aragonese style Castle. Lunch at a farmhouse. In the
afternoon transfer to Tricase and guided excursion
of the XIII century Castle , which was part of Pignatelli feud
: the vertical openings for the chains of the drawbridge are
still visible on the enclosing walls. Return to the Hotel in
Lecce. Dinner in a restaurant in the town. Overnight stay. |

| Sunday: |
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure (with baggage) to Nardò.
Guided excursion of the historical towncentre and in particular
of the Castle, built for Giovanni Acquaviva in the XV century.
Transfer by coach to Gallipoli, guided excursion
of the ancient town and visit to the magnificient Angevin Castle.
Lunch at a traditional “trattoria” in Gallipoli. In the early
evening departure by coach. |
